Event Ticket Bookings (Afternoon Teas, Sunday Lunches & In-House Events)
- Contract: Your booking is confirmed only when we send an email receipt and payment is cleared.
- Cancellations & Refunds: Under UK consumer law, event tickets are generally exempt from standard cooling-off periods. However, for our standard house events (such as Afternoon Teas and Sunday Lunches), tickets are fully refundable provided you cancel prior to the date and time of the event.
- No-Shows: If you fail to attend the event without notifying us in advance, no refund or exchange will be given.
- Changes by Us: If we must cancel or reschedule an event, you will be offered a full refund or a transfer to an alternative date.
Wedding “Finishing Touches” and Add-Ons
- Scope: This applies to items purchased under our “Finishing Touches” ranges.
- Non-Refundable Status: All purchases made within the “Finishing Touches” category are strictly non-refundable. Once purchased and allocated to your wedding date, these items cannot be cancelled or refunded, as they are bespoke event-capacity provisions.
Pricing and Payments
- All prices listed on our website are in GBP (£).
- We reserve the right to change prices at any time before a booking is accepted.
- Payments must be made in full at the checkout using our secure payment gateway before tickets or add-ons are secured.
Limitation of Liability
Highfield Hall is not responsible for any indirect losses, travel costs, or accommodation expenses incurred if an event is postponed or cancelled. Our total liability to you is strictly limited to the total price paid for your tickets or add-on items.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
