Hatty and Rory’s wedding at Crowcombe Court was a white wedding in more ways than one! Here is what they had to say about their wedding.
We decided on Crowcombe as Hatty used to go to nursey there many MANY years ago and loved the idea of getting married somewhere with a connection.
We had 80 guests for the day and a further 50 (who managed to make it due to the sudden influx of snow!). We got married on the 10th December, and it was completely magical with a white wedding.
We got married at the church at the end of the drive and have the most amazing pictures walking back down the drive as a married couple. (Hatty even got married in her wellies!)
What was your wedding theme?
We used navy as our main colour and wanted it to be fairly plain and let the venue do the talking.
What cake did you have?
We had a Godminster cheesecake and my mum did the final touches.
What did the wedding party wear?
Men were in morning suits with a navy tie with white spots. Hatty had a traditional wedding dress with a long train in satin.
Adult bridesmaids in navy, with the flower girls in handmade satin dresses and a navy ribbon around the middle.
What flowers did you choose?
Our florist was Sharon from Interiors and Flowers in Wellington and I wanted a seasonal bouquet with a touch of blue.
The men had matching buttonholes. The bridesmaid had a smaller version of my bouquet and the flower girls had a wand and a flower crown.
Who did the décor?
We did it all ourselves. We used shotgun cartridges as place names and game birds as table names. All the rest we kept very simple.

What was the best part of the day?
The best part of the day was walking back from the church down the drive in the snow.
