Our wedding simply was the best day of our lives🩷. We fell in love with Crowcombe the moment we saw the venue, so much so we booked that day and cancelled all other venue viewings! It was the first venue we saw and we knew it was for us!!
We viewed the wedding on the 18th December 2021 and that striking Christmas tree set our hearts on a Christmassy wedding 2 years later…
We had a Friday wedding and had the venue at capacity with 100 to the day and 150 to the evening! Our wedding was beautifully encapsulated by an amazing crisp frosty December day; dry and cold, the perfect winter combo!
What was the theme of the wedding?
Our theme was emerald green and ivory… we didn’t want to take away from the beauty of the venue and wanted to incorporate the beauty of the tree with the green bridesmaid dresses and my husband’s green velvet suit!
What was your cake like?
We had a white, 3-tier buttercream cake decorated with white roses and silver leaf detailing, it was made by Dreams and Wishes Cake Company
What did the bridal party wear?
Our attire was emerald green bridesmaid dresses and black dinner suits for the men… We didn’t want to take away from the beauty of the venue and wanted to incorporate the beauty of the tree with the green bridesmaid dresses and my husband’s snazzy green velvet suit!
What were your flowers like?
We used Eden Wedding Florist for our flowers. I had a mix of winter’s ivory florals and green foliage to complement.
Who took care of the decor of the venue?
I did DIY decor for the whole venue, everything was made by me and set up by my wonderful bridal party on the morning.

Any advice you would give to other couples getting married?
Don’t stress about the little details because you’re the only one who knows if something doesn’t go to plan or isn’t in the right place!
