As if you didn’t have enough to plan for your big day you have the wedding favours! What are wedding favours I hear you ask? Well they are the gifts you give your guests to thank them for attending your special day. This tradition goes way back and often would be a sugar covered almond. These days there are so many different favour ideas and we are going to tell you all about them.
Sweets
Sweets make a great favour, they are cost effective and who doesn’t love them!! You could choose you and your partners’ favourite sweets or spread the love with some love hearts. If you want something a little more personal why not get some M&M’s with your names on.
Biscuits
While we are talking about sweet things what about little biscuits for all your guests? You could bake these yourself if you are feeling brave, or buy some from a local bakery (or supermarket) why not personalise them with your names?
Plants
Want to give your guests something that will last? Why not get some seeds that can be taken home and planted by your guests as a reminder of your special day. You could even put a cute quote on the packaging “Spread the love”
Teas
Little packs of tea make a great favour, your guests can use these before going to sleep after a night of dancing, or to help cure the hangover the next morning.
Blankets
Are you having a winter wedding? Keep your guests cosy with a blanket, or maybe a little scarf.
