8 Fun ways to arrive at your wedding

There are many ways to arrive at your wedding whether it’s in a Rolls Royce, a horse-drawn carriage or on a horse!

Some factors to consider when choosing your wedding transportation are:

  1. Availability – if you’re hiring a vehicle this is obviously key to know so you can plan and book ahead
  2. Self-drive vs. driver hire – some companies will let you hire a car which you drive yourself, others will provide a driver. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a chauffeur all dressed up and playing the part?
  3. Timing – you may not be using the car all day so make sure you include plans for the photographer to get some good shots, not just when you arrive, but some styled shots too
  4. Wedding theme – your mode of transportation should fit well with your theme. If it’s a rustic barn wedding then a jeep is perfect but if it’s a country house like Crowcombe Court then perhaps something stylish like a Rolls Royce?
  5. Your own transportation – if you’re using your own car, jeep, campervan or horse (!) make sure it’s serviced, cleaned and filled with petrol (or fed….) before the big day. You don’t want to break down on the way to the ceremony!
  6. Time of year – this may be a factor in using a convertible then you’ll want the option to be able to close it if it rains. Riding a motorbike might not be the best idea in winter but you could always have a backup plan.

Here are just a few ideas of fun ways to arrive at your wedding:

Rolls Royce

A Rolls Royce has a luxury British car with quite some history. Whether you prefer a historical Phantom or a more modern version this is definitely a way to arrive in style.
